''You Light Up My Life'' is an album by American pop singer Johnny Mathis that was released in March 1978 by Columbia Records.〔(1993) ''The Music of Johnny Mathis: A Personal Collection'' by Johnny Mathis (booklet ). The album was first released on compact disc in 1988. A 3-CD box set that included this album along with the follow-up that Mathis recorded with Deniece Williams entitled ''That's What Friends Are For'' and the 1991 compilation ''Better Together: The Duet Album'' was released on August 12, 1997. ''You Light Up My Life'' was also released as one of two albums on one CD by Funkytowngrooves on January 27, 2015, the other album being Mathis's Columbia release from September 1979, ''Mathis Magic''.
